Cortland Apple Scionwood
SKU: CORTLANDSCION
Cortland Apple Scionwood – Dormant 8–10” sticks, enough for 2–3 grafts.
Cortland was developed in New York in the late 1800s as a cross between McIntosh and Ben Davis. It’s prized for its bright red skin, crisp white flesh, and mildly tart flavor. Cortland is especially popular for fresh eating, salads, and baking, as its flesh resists browning better than many varieties.
Each piece of scionwood is cut from healthy, productive trees while fully dormant. Sticks measure approximately 8–10 inches long, making them ideal for 2–3 grafts—perfect for spring propagation.
