Jonagold was developed in New York in the mid-1900s as a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious. It’s known for its large fruit, crisp texture, and balanced sweet-tart flavor. Jonagold is excellent for fresh eating, baking, and cider, making it a favorite among orchardists and home growers alike.
Each piece of scionwood is taken from healthy, productive trees and cut while fully dormant. Sticks measure approximately 8–10 inches long, ideal for making 2–3 grafts—perfect for spring grafting projects.
