Yellow Transparent Apple Scionwood
Yellow Transparent Apple Scionwood
Yellow Transparent is an early-season apple dating back to the mid-19th century in Russia. It is prized for its very early ripening and reliable performance in cool climates.
Fruit is small to medium with pale yellow skin and tender, juicy flesh. Flavor is tart and refreshing—excellent for cooking, applesauce, and cider. It ripens very early (late July to early August in the Midwest), making it one of the first apples of the season.
Trees are hardy, vigorous, and productive, well-suited to northern climates and short growing seasons.
