Veggie Boxes Week 6 2024

This weeks veggie boxes include

beets

carrots

swiss chard

celery

slicing tomato

cherry tomatoes

summer squash/zucchini

crookneck squash

green bell pepper

poblano pepper

red skin potatoes

beans

lettuce mix

The Grysen Growers original recipe this week is

Casey's crock pot stew (amended from a family recipe)

cut cubed beef

2-3 carrots peeled and cut to the size of baby carrots

Quartered (or halved on the smaller ones) red skin Potatoes

1/4 Cup flour

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp worchester sauce

3 garlic cloves minced garlic

2 tsp paprika

half of a chopped onion

2 celery stalks chopped

3-4 beets peeled and quartered

Put flour, salt and pepper in large Ziploc bag and add cubed beef, shake to coat.

Add all ingredients to large Crock Pot and add 3/4 Cup water. Cook on Low for 10 hours or on High for 5 to 6 hours. Serve with your favorite bread.
